The high-quality high-line production line has an annual production capacity of 700,000 tons, and the key technologies and core processes and equipment in the high-speed area are designed and provided by Morgan Company of United States. The whole line’s automation and transmission systems were designed and integrated by ABB, ensuring that products have highly competitive quality, performance, and cost. The production line is designed with internationally advanced and applicable production technology and equipment, with a maximum finishing speed guarantee of 112m/s. It utilizes hot charging and hot delivery processes and the most advanced finishing mill “8+4” configuration in the world, enabling hot rolling process technology, whole line digital control and online diameter measurement technology, whole line controlled rolling and cooling technology, and online HotEye surface quality inspection technology. The internal structure of the produced wire rod is uniform with grain size difference on the cross section less than Grade 1, and the wire rod performance is uniform with less iron oxide scale. The product specification ranges from ?5mm to ?25mm. It mainly produces bearing steel, spring steel, cold heading steel, cord steel, free-cutting steel, etc. With wide application in bearings, automobiles, wind power generation, bridge construction and other fields, this high-speed wire rod production line ranks among the top class both domestically and internationally.
